Summary:
Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment in various modes and techniques, to locate, evaluate, and record pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data.
The Ultrasonographer maintains and calibrates equipment, records tests results, and updates patient records for referring physicians.
Minimum Requirements:
Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training, and completion of an Ultrasound program.
BLS Certification.
