MINIMUM
Qualifications:
A master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work followed by two years of professional level social services experience.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Positions require possession of Licensure as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
NOTE:
The master's degree in social work must be from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, 1701 Duke Street, Suite 200, Alexandria, VA 22314.

This position participates in a Career Progression Group. As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Social Worker 3 or 4 depending on the level of professional social work experience and social worker licensure of the selected applicant.
You must have a current Louisiana LMSW (Licensed Master's Social Worker) license to qualify for a Social Worker 3 or a current Louisiana LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license for a Social Work 4 which preference may be given.
There is a Special Entrance Rate of $3,369.17 monthly for a Social Worker 3 and $3,605.33 monthly for a Social Worker 4.
